The Softalk Share Server Administrator program lets you grant different users varying access to personal and public folders.
Once a user has logged into Outlook, using the Softalk Share Server store, their personal folders will be made available to the Administrator program. It is then possible to grant access to any of the folders belonging to this user. It is even possible to grant access to the user object itself, meaning that access will be granted to all the user's folders.
As soon as a user is granted access to a personal or public folder, that folder will immediately appear in their folder tree, providing them with the specified level of access to that folder.
Various levels of access may be granted to different users. For example, one user may be granted read access to a particular folder, while another user may be granted all but delete access to that folder. The following levels of access are available:
Read only
Read and create
Read, create and modify
Full access
